I realise people are on the fence about poo versus no poo, sodium Lauryl sulphate is the sudsing agent in shampoo, and I need to see some suds or bubbles to feel a shampoo is working...😃( removing all the dirt and oils)

I love the no poo method (even though I want to laugh every time I have to say the name out loud!). It's easy, cheap, and low maintenance...I can go 2 weeks without washing my hair and it doesn't get greasy or smell bad. The first few weeks when I first tried it, my hair looked weighed down and greasy, but then it got used to the more natural approach and looked awesome. The only thing is, whenever I use a lot of products in my hair, I don't feel like it gets rid of all the product buildup. I think if I double up the recipe it will be fine, and I still love the volume and texture it gives my hair :)

I use As I Am Coconut Cowash to cleanse my hair and scalp. This stuff has zero suds to it and my hair loves it. Since I kicked out the suds aspect my hair has responded in such a more positive manner. I have no regrets whatsoever. I do use a clarifying shampoo twice a month just to address buildup and that contains no sulfates. I have to immediately go in with a conditioner after using though. The no Poo method works great for me.

I absolutely love Wen by Chaz Dean (no poo lol) because it leaves my damaged hair so soft but I use a regular Shampoo once a week otherwise my hair gets limp & lifeless.

I tried the super crunchy version of no poo but it only made my hair happy for like a few days before it lapsed back into a weird phase. If I could afford a good sulfate-free shampoo I would do it, alas I'm on the BJ's big pump bottles of Dove plan.

No poo! I hate poo shampoos because they strip my hair and my fine hair more oily from drying my scalp. My fine hair has so much more volume and stays oil free longer, once you feel your hair after a month of poo free you'll forget ever needing those suds!
