This is what my leg currently looks like. I'm a habitual skin picker, so the bumps look extra gross lol.

If they are razor bumbs, use a really good shaving cream.

I have the same problem and I use Eucerin Original Lotion after I shower and now I don't have them:)

I promise they aren't razor bumps, haha. It's winter so I'm straight up neglecting my legs as fat as hair removal goes. lol, no shame. They're tiny, skin - colored bumps allllll over. they're all pretty grouped together, too. like I said, I pick them so the picture isn't a great reference point.

Your welcome:) and if they aren't from shaving it still should probably go away with the lotion. Also Aquaphor is a really good brand to try, pretty sure its from the same brand as Eucerin but they have thicker creams

I know exactly how you feel @sarah m! I also have keratosis Polaris on my arms and what almost made them completely disappear is to put lotion on the area with the bumps on it everyday and to exfoliate them. Hope this helps!

One great way to get rid of KP is to start and maintain a dry brushing routine into your skin care regimen. I used to have KP not only on my upper thighs but on my arms as well and that is how I got rid of them. All you have to do is purchase a natural bristled brush and starting at your feet make long strokes up toward your heart. You brush the entire body before showering. It is an excellent way not only to exfoliate, but it also stimulates your lymphatic system and many people would argue that it helps with detoxification. For me though, I believe that the exfoliating was key. Even on days I do not have time to do the full dry brush, I will cleanse my entire body in the shower using an identical brush as I bought for the dry brushing. I just apply my body cleanser right to the bristles and gently scrub away! It helps me keep my entire body super smooth and when I shave my legs they end up feeling even smoother than normal. I think (and this is just my opinion) that it really gets the hair to 'stand up' so the shave is that much closer. I also like that my skin absorbs my moisturizer much better when my skin is exfoliated. Use caution though, and be gentle as you don't want to damage your skin. You also want to be sure to use a very moisturizing bodywash or cleanser. :) Good luck!

I used to get them all the time but I was given a tip about when you shave as long as you don't have sensitive skin only shave with water and to warm your legs up shave in the shower or bath just try to make sure there are no gosse bumps your shaving over hope this helps

Yeah that it definitely KP. I have it on the backs of my arms and on my thighs as well! Exfoliating rathrr roughly seems to help. I use the st. I've's apricot acrub to exfoliate in the shower and then moisturize when I get out! There is no cure for KP so you just have to find what works for you!
