Fragranced lotion can be an irritant, so I'd avoid that. I suggest using aloe (which is also moisturizing, as well as good for itches), or some sort of calming, soothing lotion (think Eucerin, Aveeno, anything with oatmeal extracts...).

Also, what do you shave with? Mens razors are much sharper than women's, you might need to switch up something else in your routine to compensate. Do you scrub beforehand?

The men's razor, does anyone else uses it?

I use a mens razor and my legs don't itch.

Hmm. That makes no sense, then. Unless the razor is still giving you a closer shave than normal and getting the shave cream into your open pores, I'm not sure exactly what's happening with that.

The only thing that I can think of is maybe your skin is dry, and the shaving irritates it, causing it to itch?? try moisturizing before shaving.

I use a men's razor (Gillette Mach 3), too. If you be sure to moisturize your skin with a good moisturizer it should put an end to the itchiness after shaving. I am a huge advocate of using jojoba or sweet almond oil as a moisturizer, as they are both very close to the oils your body naturally produces to keep your skin soft and glowing. :)

I loveee mens razors. I use the Gilette Fusion. My legs are always itchy and red after I shave, but I find it's not as bad when I use a mens razor. My legs are just very sensitive. Maybe try not to exfoliate every time you shave, you should only be exfoliating your skin 2 times a week. I use Aveeno Shaving Gel and it really helps! After I shave I apply a natural soothing soap made from Aloe and Vitamin e. After shaving I apply either Eucerin Cream, or Pure Coconut Oil. Overtime I found that coconut oil has really helped my legs!
