If you line the top of your eyes, don't bring the line all the way to your inner corner.

White or nude in the waterline, eyeliner in more rounded shape than a sleek shape on lid, lighter color eyeshadow in center of eyelid, white or just a light color in inner tear duct, mascara (not in outer like flared out but rounded like same length all around or most length in center) (:

Concentrate your mascara on the outer eyelashes, and you can try some false eyelashes too. Also I read somewhere that adding mascara to lower lashes can make your eyes appear smaller, but I think it depends on the actual size and shape of your eye. Also use a high lighter on the inner corners of your eyes to make them stand out.

Lighter shade of shadow on the lid. Medium tone blended slightly above the crease. Curl your lashes, focus your mascara in the center of your lashes. Mascara on the lower lashes alway makes the eyes look bigger (think Twiggy or Goldie Hawn in her hey-day). Probably before your time, but google them. Also, and this one is tricky. You can use a smudger brush to smudge in a medium colored shimmery or metallic shadow (I like copper for most people) into the lower lashline slightly bringing it lower than your lashes but following the natural shape of your lashline. Leave a tiny space on the outer edge and it should fade into the inner part of the lashline. This takes lots of practice.

I also like a copper liner on the lower waterline. It will make your eyes sparkle. Although I still like black on the upper waterline.
