Essence makes a lash fiber powder thing in a jar for $2.99. out a coat of mascara on, then the fibers, and so on. it works just the same as too faced and for a fraction of the price.

Deedee are you referring to the Better than False - 3 step? If so, I love it and I do have oily skin. Something else to look for which someone just brought to my attention is water resistant mascara... I have to look into more but just wanted to pass it on, suppose help with being smudge proof

Hi! I have the Better than False lashes set and I really like it! I have oily skin and I haven't had an issue with it. The only thing I found to be an issue is that you DEFINITELY don't want to put it on your top AND bottom lashes. Just the top. Bottom needs to go without mascara of any kind or your lashes will stick together and you won't be able to blink-lol. I figured that was kinda self explanatory, but one day I put it on and then without even thinking, coated my bottom lashes with another mascara and as soon as I did it, I was like, "why did I just do that?!"

I bought better then false lashes but I don't use the mascara that came with it I use maybelline the rocket instead and they come out looking much better and not clumpy.
