Sounds like a gimmick to me. You're better off using a deep conditioner if moisture is a concern.

Sounds like a huge scam. Infrared radiation doesn't do anything remotely like what that ad claims. Also, IR *does* heat up, even if it isn't as hot as a styling tool. Save your money. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrared
