I'm looking for a new foundation!
Something with good coverage that will not look cakey! Any suggestions!

I have Nars sheer matte. (Mind you my skin leans more towards the oily side) But Nars is a good brand and any of their foundations are good.

I use the Bobbi brown liquid skin foundation and a beauty blender. It's kinda pricey but you could go to sephora and get samples of it :) it's amaZing

I love my Kat Von D foundation right now. It has awesome coverage and does not look cakey so long as you apply it correctly. I like to use a beauty blender (:

UD Naked (I have super dry skin though so I prefer a dewy finish), Nars Sheer Matte Would be good since you like matte finishes, Makeup Forever Face and Body,
and Kat Von D is good but super thick and tends to look cakey for dry skin... I think applying with a brush works best for me. I use this brush from Sephora and I loveeee the way it makes my foundation look, I have tried many different brands and types of brushes and this is my fav

Urban Decay Naked skin! My favorite so far. I use it with a beauty blender and I buy it for ten dollars more and it comes with trial or travel (both I guess) b6 prep spray and bb cream. I use them together and it's so great! It does look natural and it does cover but not remarkable. BUT the more coverage the more cakey and fake it will look. You are better off finding a good concealer. I use Cover FX. Just use it where you need it.

BTW the beauty blender in my opinion is a great buy. I do use makeup brushes, I just like the feel of them, but then I go over it with my beauty blender. Just looks so much more natural. Plus if you have dry patches remember to bounce (stipple) not rub.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. Its gives a medium to full coverage. I also have the original Double Wear that gives full coverage but that one doesn't look as natural as the LIGHT version.
