Help! Pressed Powder

Hey! I use maybelline fit me pressed powder after their BB cream... And lately my face has been looking like a totally different color than my skin and I found out that it was because of the powder applicator thing that comes with it... I have been using a different one lately... But, does anybody have a recommendation of how to prevent this from happening and/or how to easily apply pressed powder? Thank you so much!!

Maybe use translucent powder

There is one by nyx but I can't remember the exact name. Anyways, it's a loose powder but it's a life saver

Mac if you want something on the expensive side or like meg said Rimmel stay matte or rimmels clear complexion is amazing.
