Okay, I am 13! And I do workout!
But I have been told that young people shouldn't! But I have for about a full year! I figured if I start young, I wouldn't need to worry later!
Here lately, I've been happy with how far I have came! But I can see my tummy slowly expanding again! I busted up my Abb workout! But still! Not helping! (And yes I know it takes a wile to see progress!)
But my questions are...
1.) it is okay for me to workout, Right?
2.) And any advise for my tummy to look bets?
Thankx guys! (Yes I do eat healthy as much as possible too!) ⚓️🎀💎🐘😸✌️💋☺️

I don't think there is nothing wrong with working out early as long as its not in excess its actually good for you ad your health just like I said not in excess

It's fine for you to work out, as long as it doesn't become an obsessive kind of thing, and you take a little break every once in a while :) especially if you don't do a sport, working out can be important.
As for stomach flatness, I can't really help you, because I do 50-70 sit-ups every night, and my abs are pretty pronounced. It varies from person to person.

To work on abs I do a lot of weighted crunches, leg planks (lay on your back, hands by your side; don't grab your legs, and hold you legs 3-6 inches off the ground in 30 second reps and I do 3 reps of 3 in. and 6 in.)

Its fine for you to workout, but I suggest getting an assesment test from a pt to determine how much and how often.

You could always try one of those thirty day workout challenges, like the squat one or the abs one. I find them fun and challenging, but not so challenging that I want to quit doing them. You could also look up some workout videos on YouTube, such as Blogilates channel. Listen to your favorite songs and do a video or two of hers. You could even workout with some friends, which would make a fun Saturday afternoon. But at your age, you really don't need to be doing any hardcore workouts. It's great that you're starting a healthy life at a young age though! Just make sure not to overdo it, and make sure you're doing it for YOU and not because you want others to like you more/think better of you because of how tiny your waist is/toned your legs are. (:

I think it's actually very good that you are exercising and working out. It's very healthy. As long as you remain at a healthy weight, it's perfectly fine. You should be working out no more than one hour a day or so. And probably 6 days a week. I would say your goals should be fitness and health not skinny.

13 is fine, just don't do too heavy lifting bc it can affect your bone structre. But working out is great and very healthy. (: and for your abs I suggest abb roll outs; and rotating planks.

Its never to early to work out, actually I never.heard that working out.had a age limit. And has for your stomach you are only 13 so you are.still growing and changing so don't.freak if your body starts.getting bigger or different.

13 is totally fine to work out. When I was 13 I came to conditioning camp and work out days along with the varsity volleyball team from my now high school, plus a bunch more workouts. As for abs, make sure your strengthening your back, lower especially haha. Ab workouts: planks, crunches, windshield wipers, push ups, surfer twists, ski abs, bicycles, side planks.

Yeah it's not to young at all, I suggest cardio, ab exercises won't really do much since all they do is strengthen the muscles (this won't make abs show) so the only way to get rid of tummy flab is by cardio and eating really healthy. I know this because I am really into fitness and I want to be a Strength and Conditioning Specialist for elite athletes. If you want or need more fitness advice just comment on my profile and I can do you up a fitness routine if you like.?

I'm 12 and I work out!! There is nothing wrong with working out at a young age. And I'm with you I have to work out my tummy and I love doing sit ups, crutches, planks are great and I like riding a bike to even though it mainly works out your legs it still helps with your tummy:-) But Amber C. there is nothing wrong with working out at your age.
