I know how you feel, I see so many 11 year olds on here and I'm tired of all the outfit games, there's nothing new here. Some off topic posts I'm ok with because it's a community thing, but some are just so irrelevant. I think it's become a competition for followers.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of shallow people who get caught up in vanity instead of beauty. Sometimes they can be seen as "caddy" - I'm not meaning to be technical here; but it is literal truth.. I agree with you; hear you and understand what you are talking about.. I just never say it - although I have come very close.

I believe a beauty site should be welcoming to teach those who are learning. we all have to start somewhere.
I have had a few "nasty" replies to things that work for me - told you can't do that, its not perfect. so what! if it works..
and the competition thing.. make me feel very sad for those girls.. they have no idea the trap they are stuck in.

cheer up Beauty.. chock it up to "their problem" - take a break and ignore there crap! Be who you are; a rare actual beautiful person who just happens to love makeup as well. people will come at you no matter where you are in the world because of that.

I have a love hate relationship with the industry, good luck to you what ever you decide! ;-)

I completely understand what you are saying but I don't think its really a competition. I also get super frustrated with the whole bs of not getting responses and then someone else gets 30 comments on something. I am sick of little kids being on here and the outfit game is annoying but I haven't been seeing as much of it as I was for a while. But as for not getting responses I agree with it being reworded in the title so people know specifically what subject you're talking about.

I don't know if this applies to me as being caddy as I get really fed up with misinformation and give longass paragraphs of information. & I still don't know what the f the # of followers can ACTUALLY do for you...
I actually asked this once and got zero responses, still haven't figured out what 'followers' do lmao.

Unfortunately, rudeness is the nature of all social media sites lately. Just because it's the Internet, people feel entitled to be rude and crass, and not take any consequence for their actions because the anonymity the Internet provides. But not a lot of people realize that nothing ever really goes away on the Internet. There's always a cookie trail left behind. The best thing to do is follow the Golden Rule regardless of whatever you do. I completely understand your frustration. Believe me. I've been there. And I get that kind of attitude everyday because A.) I work retail and B.) I run a music blog. Life is too short on childish games and competitions. It's always easier to draw flys with honey instead of vinegar, as my Mum would put it. I just wish these kids would understand that before someone gets hurt.

Lmao, I had to ask. On my ride alongs I deal with a lot of bad attitudes, criminals... people wanting to kill or attack you and so much.. stupidity. And I come here to relax but I just end up sounding caddy ( at least to me lol. )

and other days I'm like
People just cannot fathom the immensity of the stupidity that simply emerges from their mouths -.- or maybe there is something in the water I dunno.

& now I don't feel so bad, I usually flag those youtube posts cause wth... I click because I want to see or because I want to help. especially since everyone makes such basic videos, at least have the decency to post something unique... not ''3 easy hair styles for school! A ponytail, bun, or braid!''
Like wow, I was able to do that at the age of 5? lol.

@Mary T..."get out my poocorn watch the drama" LMBO! My husband says that from time to time reading some of the threads on here. When I first started on here there was way more creative posts and now there is very little...and my husband looked at those posts as a reference tool when it comes to formulating cosmetics because he would read how certain products would apply and translate on different skintones from the comments being made. Now there is very little. Bring on the creativity.

We should definitely brainstorm to do creative things together, maybe that it'll influence others cause I'm tired of all this basic stuff.
It sucks cause I promised to do more creative looks but BAM I get sick.. so now I won't touch my make up, and I got challenged to do a vampy look, but thats kind of been my look lately... lol.
