I have Ipsy as well and love it so far, I've only had it a month but I'm really anticipating January's bag.

Absolutely! I am in love with this subscription. They really do personalize it to the person and I got everything I like last time/my first time:
Nyx lipstick
Bombshell blush/ shadow stick
Large nail polish
Ardell lashes
An eyeshadow trio

Hmmm..I wouldn't be very impressed either. One thing I can't stand is mini perfume samples. At least that one's Juicy though!

I would switch to Ipsy as well!

My 1st one just shipped not, I'm that excited anymore :|

I also requested no perfume as a preference (darn asthma) do they usually honor those request?

I was with birchbox for over a year and I got like 5 Juicy samples. Birchbox went down hill.

I had BirchBox for about 6 months, I was always hoping it would get better, but I ended up always getting hair oils and perfume samples tiny tiny things I would never use, I was so sick and fed up and definitely felt like I was getting ripped off. I switched to Ipsy and I have to say that was the best decision ever. I get full sizes/generous sample sizes of actual makeup I end up loving and actually use, from brands I love too. NYX, Zoya, Benefit, and various others! Definitely worth the switch, I promise!

The only thing I did probably like about BirchBox was the informational sheet it came with that tells you what each product is/it's uses, and the full price of it so you know you're getting somewhat of your moneys worth. With some of the Ipsy products I have to go through trial and error because there is no description of its use, for example this beauty stick thing I got that has multi uses, I had no idea what it was to begin with, had to look it up!
