I had colors but the thing is that the bands of color are like magnets for plaque and it makes it pretty difficult to clean them very well. I finally stopped getting colors and I like it so much more, it's so much easier to make sure my teeth are clean and I don't have to worry about the colors matching stuff or anything. It doesn't look strange I promise. Hope this is helpful.

Don't get a colored one. I seriously think you'll regret it, I know I would if I did. I also have braces but I don't want them to 'be there' so I just chose grey ones.
