I usually do my highlight contour routine after my foundation but I see some people do it after , does it really make a difference?

I do both sometimes. After I prime my face I highlight using a concealer about 1 shade lighter & contour with a concealer 2 shades darker. I blend it in with a stippling brush. I then apply my foundation over it. It gives a natural contour/highlight. After blending my foundation, I use either my MAC Prep & Prime Pen in Bright Forecast or a concealer 3 shades lighter to highlight then set it with my Ben Nye Banana Powder. I contour with a powder 2 shades darker or one of my blush/bronzer duo's by ELF.

Most of the time I do it after, but on a special day I do both before and after using cream products before, then power products after.

I used to do it before, but lately I've been doing it after. If I really want to exaggerate ( Like I will be tomorrow for my challenge ) I'll do it heavily before, and lightly after.

I highlight/contour after foundation, since I use powders.
I actually had no idea that you could do it before xD when I move to liquids I might try doing that..

Thanks girls! Does it feel heavy though? I'm not really into that completely flawless makeup because it can sometimes feel too much
@kyra lol I've only figured it out when I started beauty school

No, I don't think it does. I use cream concealers to contour with it. And I use powders afterwards very lightly. Tomorrow I will be doing creams underneath, light creams on top and powders.

No it doesn't feel heavy. I use different shades of the LA Girl Pro HD Concealer & it's very light weight. My foundation is usually light weight as well.
