I've been getting my bags since october and I loveeee it. I've gotten full sized eyeliner, eyeshadows and blushes. even a makeup brush. its really awesome. I also wasnt sure but I have no regrets. I mean I even pay 16$ bc I live in quebec, ca, so its even more expensive hahah:( and from what I've seen from birchbox it looks very cheap and looks like testers as opposed to traveling sized products like ipsy.

I absolutely love it! It gives a lot of full sized products and even the "samples" are a lot and last a long time. And every one you get comes in a really cute makeup bag so now I have like 10 bags to choose from lol

Actually my "meh" experience was used samples...
also I read reviews of people finding bodily fluids in their bags...
So I just wanted to know if things like that still happened. But again, that was when it first started.

I have had my bag since last July. I have never had a bad experience like you did. I think it's worth it now. I heard that when they first started as glam bag it was not good at all. But now I believe it's so much better.

I have only had great experiences with Ipsy. I have been subscribed for a year and I have had a lot of great products come my way. Sometimes its hit or miss with the color selection or items they choose for you. I have made trades and ultimately got what I wanted or what colors I needed if I thought a product was worth the time and the shipping costs to try out. In cases where I haven't traded for items I wanted (but didn't get), I am still glad to receive my Ipsy bag and find it to be well worth the $10 a month. In the past, I've spent well over $10 a month on products I wanted to try but ended up being a complete bust, so I love that I get to sample a variety of quality products for $10. The customer service is also amazing in my experiences. They really try to meet my needs when I contact them concerning ANYTHING. From what it sounds like, Ipsy has really turned its act around since its Glam Bag days.

I've have ipsy for about 6 months and love it. $10/month for 5 products and a lot of the time you get full size products or really good sized samples. I've also come to love a lot of brands I never would've know of before ipsy! It's definitely worth it.
