Tomorrow I have cap and gown photos and I'm going to be wearing my 18" extensions and I'm just wondering if it would be easier to curl them while they're out or in my hair? And any tips to doing it.. Blending or whatever. Thanks!!

I curl my aunts hair while her extensions are in her hair(:

I used to curl mine while they were on. It made it easier and when if wear them and curl them they'd blend in nicely.

When I wear mine, I curl them while they are on my head because it blends much better.

I like to curl them out then I lay them down so the curls coil up to cool down and spray a little hairspray on them, the curls will last until I wash them!

I would agree with those who said to curl them while they're in your hair, because you get a much better blend.

Curl all the extensions the before you put them on your head. Then curl your own hair, tease it and then put your extensions in and brush out all of the hair (yours and the extensions) to blend them better, recurl parts that seem to need it. Use hairspray or molding paste.

actually here's a picture of me curling my hair with my extensions in and you can see that I start kinda low and there's some of my shorter hair falling over the side of the curling iron, so I just curl it in a little higher than that to get the short ends tucked in. I curl it from the bottom up and once the hair extension is curled, I go back in from the middle of the strand and make sure my real hair is really curled in there and loosely wrap the extensions/ends around the barrel as I really hit the part of my hair which be blended. I suppose that kinda works the same as curling them off of your head first, then going back over the curl once you put them in your hair.
