Blend the crease with a neutral color, closer to your skin tone, taupe or a light brown, make sure to blend any harsh lines. It make the eyeshadow look shadowed instead of harsh.

And you should try a highlight color in your inner tear duck area, like a pearl, makes your eyes pop and makes them look brighter!

You should really emphasize the smokey eye with a brown then a small amount of black and work it into the brown, and then use a brush and blend it out giving it a shadowed affect from the lightest color to the smokey portion. And use a different color then white, maybe a champaign color that has shimmer them a matte brown and black.

Use different shades of brown instead of black. Blend that shit like crazy. circular motions. Use a highlight color, transition color, crease color, lid color. One you use the different shades of brown then add black in the outer corner of your crease adding little by little until you reach the intensity you desire.

I don't think your makeup looks bad either all I see is it needs a little more blending.

Try and blend down the crease instead of straight out.
