I have pedal to the metal (or something like that) and I feel like you have to put multiple layers for it to show. Not the best polish I've ever tried. I'm happy that it was one of my gifts from my school and me not paying for it.

In my experience I had to apply two layers because I want to get an opaque finish but it did show well at first. I think it depends on what color you are using.
