I've never purchased anything off Amazon before and was wondering if they ship to Australia? So many products I can't find at any store here that I need to try, is it reliable?

I mean they're pretty reliable us. Perhaps you have a separate amazon? I know on polyvore, they list uk amazon as a separate site.

Amazon is reliable. they have different vendors like ebay. so shipping and stuff should be okay, the time depends on where its coming from. with makeup, just make sure its real.

I order a lot of hair goodies thru Amazon and have yet to have any issues. Shipping is often quicker than going on the actually brands website.

So relieved, I wanted to make sure it was safe before I splurge but I'll be sure to look at ratings, reviews, etc. while were on the topic though, any goodies you'd recommend? I've yet to use any elf, nyx, like crime, naked palettes or anything like that and I'm really into blush palettes and eyeshadow palettes, even brush sets lol! If you girls have any recommendations I'd be excited to hear about them :)

Amazon is fantastic and super fast shipping like some.of the other ladies said. I order lots online and so does my Bf. we order a lot from the US because you save so much and don't have to wait a year for delivery lol.

Amazon is a good host site, but like eBay there are sellers for the item and they are who you have to watch out for! Make sure the seller/shop you're buying the item from has good reviews before buying.

As long as you look at the ratings and they're good, then it'll be fine. Also don't be stupid and go "omg naked palette for 7$!" Because it'll be fake lol. Just use common sense with it. But I've ordered a few makeup palettes from there and as long as the seller has good reviews and you aren't getting a fantastic deal on it, than it's not going to be fake. Still check and make sure when you get it. But I've ordered high end makeup and never had a fake. :)

They're very reliable, my mother and I both order from them a lot and have only had one problem! My mom ordered a cookware set and it never came, she called Amazon and they were very helpful, refunded the full amount, and flagged the seller immediately. If the product you're wanting says "shipped from and sold by Amazon" then there's nothing to worry about at all. Most of there other sellers are reliable too though and like I said if you have a problem just call Amazon and they'll flag the seller and give you a refund :)

They ship almost everywhere I'm pretty sure. It is a super reliable company which I've never had a problem with. Things have come broken a few times but amazing has either issued a complete refund and let us keep the damaged product OR tracked down the independent seller and have them give us a new product free of charge and with free shipping. Their customer service is also really fast, friendly , and helpful. I have the one-click and amazon prime so it takes 3 seconds to place an order and it's at my house the next day! Since there are independent sellers you still need to check and make sure you aren't buying fake products but there are tons of pics that amazon makes you out of every product being sold... Soooo you should easily be able to tell. Hope that was helpful!

I have always had great experiences with Amazon. But I don't order any makeup products from them. I prefer to go to Sephora or Ulta for those things. I have ordered a lot of nail polish from various sellers on there and I haven't got any fakes. One even included a small pamphlet on how to tell if you'd received a fake OPI polish. The only other makeup-related thing I've ever bought is a couple real techniques brush sets. They were fine but recently I've noticed the seller I bought them from either doesn't sell them anymore or they or someone else has tripled the prices on them. The one brush I wanted was like $6 and they wanted $28 for it. So my advice is to just do a price check as well just to make sure you aren't overpaying for something. Now I buy all of my RT brushes directly from Ulta's website just to be sure. Otherwise I buy all kinds of stuff on there and have never had a bad experience really :)
