Nail Help !!

I've been biting my nails literally non stop for 13 years , now that I've been wearing press on nails for quite some time not acrylic for a good month , changing them regularly and sanitizing appropriately . Will this ruin my nails , they have grown tremendously yet are brittle and flimsy ... Any advice ? Sorry it's so long lol!

I bite my nails all the time and it bothers me. Thinking about it just gets on my nerves lol. But I don't think they will ruin your nail as long as your removing them correctly. And on the brittle and flimsy part I've tried so many nail hardeners and none of them have worked. I now put nail glue or super glue on my nails and it makes them super hard and they don't break so I solved one of my problems but it i see my nails I want to bite them so the biting part I paint my nails using the mavala stop polish and it taste DISGUSTING lol I hate even putting them close to my face it tastes so bad.
