Just a quick hair question about curls. I curl my hair with a 38mm iron and I drown it in hair spray afterward bit the curls never hold for more than a couple hours before they start going limp. how can I get them to stay put for longer?

All that hairspray is actually weighing down your curls. My hair never holds a curl well so I work in small sections and use a very light spritz Redken 22 Hot Sets prior to each curl on days where I need maximum hold. I always let my curls cool and usually finger comb them. Most often, I finish with Redken 28.

You may also want to try applying dry shampoo prior! Keeps oils from traveling down the hair shaft and killing your curls. ;)

What kind of curling iron is it? I find ceramic ones to work best.

Thanks! I will try to lay off the hair spray and try the dry shampoo.
I'm honestly too lazy to pin each curl...Is that what happens? I tried rolling it all up into a bun at the end and tired it up like that for about a half hour.
I'm currently using a ceramic straightener
