As a Irish, pale girl that never tans... I would just say pale is beautiful. If you decide that you look better tan I would definetly use tanner bc sunbathing is so unhealthy for skin. VS has really good tanning supplies that I'm pretty sure are on sale. (Yesterday 50% off I think)

Coming from a girl who tans way to easily I just have to say I would rather be pale, but if you really want to be tan then I agree with Kathy

If you are pale like me make sure you choose a tan with a lower DHA, if you go with one with a higher amount that's what will make you orange! My 2 fave tanning products are clarins self tanning cream and loreal sublime bronze elixir, these products give you a lovely golden natural tan instead of that icky false orange colour! I think self tanning is one of those products where it's worth spending a little more money on them, it's better to pay a little extra and get that perfect quality tan your after, hope this helps:)

You MUST try at least the trial version of the Vita Liberata pHenomenal mousse, in medium. People normally go for deep, medium is good on my skin, which is quite light in winter!
There is virtually no odor (very VERY little), the color is natural and not orange, and they give you a mitt and thorough instructions to apply it perfectly!
People keep asking me where I got this gorgeous tan and they can't believe it came in a bottle!
