Tarte makeup line and Josie Maran's line were both suggested to me given the fact I have very sensitive acne prone skin. Today I tried and tested the Josie Maran Argan oil infused powder and it was light coverage but delicate on the skin. Very luxurious feeling and so smooth. So I would also suggest trying those two lines sense the ingredients are more natural. Best of luck :)

And also Harlyn T. proves a good point I use purminerals 4 in 1 mineral foundation and it gives a lightly coverage but helps subdue redness a bunch, I actually am loving it to say the truth! :) and purminerals powder is a better alternative than bare minerals because they do not use talc which can irritate the skin

You could also try Clinique acne solutions- I've never tried this personally but again, it was suggest but I will add that with sensitive acne prone skin acne treatments can further irritate, atleast within my experience. Hopefully all of these suggestions can help you, dear and you find what works for your skin.

Mac actually made me break out soo bad and many of my friends that's surpriseing that it helped your skin Tania but great that it worked for you! One that has helped me wonder is Cliniques acne solution liquid makeup they have a whole acne solutions line. Makeup and skin care. It doesn't make me break out and when I do break out it helps get rid of them. You should check out their line Vallerie its done wonders for my skin.

@Tania I might have to try the prolongwear because it was studio fix that I used and I was scared to try the rest of the Mac line just because of how hard and lonh it took to get my skin back under control.

Also it's not foundation but I used a product called ZIANA that really helped get rid of the really bad acne I had but it can be drying so I recommend a moisturizer 😊

Actually, just to clarify. None of bareMinerals foundations (there are four different formulations) contain talc. Some people have a reaction to an ingredient called Bismuth Oxychloride, which is used in two of the foundations: Original and Ready. The other two, BareSkin and Matte do not contain that. People confuse the two ingredients, so I just thought I'd throw my two cents in, so no false information is put out there. Easy mistake to make. c:

Another vote Clinique. I would for a foundation that will not only won't aggravate acne but will actually help to HEAL it. Clinique has a foundation that has salicylic acid in it which will help keep your pores clear. I'm not saying it will completely clear your skin, but in combination with the proper cleansers and a healthy diet, it will help improve your skin.

You could try physician's formula talc free powder foundation. I haven't tried it myself but one of the girls I follow on YouTube has severe acne and she said it helped her. Or I've heard great things about the new elf acne fighting foundation that has salicylic acid in it :)

Sandy... Of course! Everyone is an individual. I have often used products that were for my skin type or hair type yet it didn't work out. And vice versa.
