I am dying to try the new Nyx Wonderstick. That's their new contour and highlight product. But I like Sleek Contour Kit.

Idk if this is your first time trying to contour. But why don't you try to start off with a kit. Like Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit it has everything you need or Morphe brushes contour kit or it cosmetics contour kit. It's best to buy kits to get an idea of what shades you need to get and start playing.

In my opinion it just makes things easier cuz you get everything you need.
Then your next mission is finding the perfect brushes that work for you. It's all about getting to know your product by playing and experimenting. Have fun and get creative.

You can use foundation or concealer that's 1-2 shades darker than your skin & cool toned to contour. I heard it's easier to start off with powder. everyone always raves about benefit's high beam for highlighting.

To learn myself I am using Maybelline fit me stick to highlight and to contour Maybelline fit me pressed powder. as a cheap drug store alternative until I get better at it.

For highlighting I like using the Studio Face Powder in Gold. It's a soft yellow color and I LOVE it very finely milled and gives the most beautiful effect. It reflects a soft yellow color rather than the typical silver. Sometimes I'll highlight with a lighter concealer in the inner parts of my face and add the shimmer to some parts for a bit of oomph since just using a lighter concealer makes me look kind of dull and matte. For contouring I think the Maybelline color tattoo in tough as taupe would be perfect. It's a grey color and mimicks a shadow
