Ok so I plan on putting lace over this rip, but should I glue It together first (fabric glue) and then put the lace on, or...? I just thought this because it msy look weird when I try to roll them. (like the other side)

An idea of where the lace will be.

Also should I cover that whole bottom with an angled triangle of the lace? or should it not take up so much space? :b.

I would personally put the lace under the destroyed part, like this! I did this with my shorts! I think if you added lace to the pockets in back, and put a sliver of lace between the ripped pieces on theft side, that that would look awesome!

Like what she did with the sides, but in the front! I think it's look super cute and very unique!

I would do a teensy bit more! Just so the lace is more visible! I completely understand what you are saying! I researched for weeks before I even attempted to cut my jeans!

Wow you're so on trend I've seen these sort if shorts in about 4 different shops recently and they all have lace in a triangle, covering a corner of the front pocket if that helps.
