I have very dry skin and understood the old foundation stick doesn't work so well in oily skin, and that the new one fixes that. Does this mean the new one is more drying and doesn't work that well dry skin?
Thanks :)

I meant doesn't work that well on dry skin?
I am confused whether to buy the old or the new.

I have seen that video some time ago and I don't think it had the answer. I can watch it again this evening, but if someone knows the answer in the meantime that would be great!

Nathalie, if you can, locate Shelley's profile. She has done a few reviews on this. Hopefully she sees this post.

You girls made me smile... :) It really depends how dry is dry with your skin. My daughter had to give a client a mini-facial before application of the foundation stick just so she had a smooth canvas to work with (she had dry skin) and it looked beautiful. And she lightly applied just a touch of luminizing loose powder using a fan brush. The formula doesn't contain any skin drying ingredients which is nice for both skintypes. Its very important to make sure you exfoliate prior to application to remove any surface debris (aka dry skin) and you should be just fine.

Thanks Shelley. So the new one is more drying than the old one?
My skin is awfully dry even at the moment. It flakes and peels off easily.

I have two of bobbi brown's foundation sticks, I didn't dry my skin out but make it oily towards the end of the day. But I was also using a benefit stay flawless 15 hour prime at the same time. - not sure if I helped. :/

It contains less oil Nathalie...the new formula contains shea butter. Are you dry all over or just in your t-zone where you have flaky/peeling skin?

I'm dry all over but especially around the nose, on the forehead and under my eyes. Shea butter sounds good though. Natalie, do you have dry skin?

Thanks Shelley. it's hard to decide but we will get the stick here only in october and I need a solution in between because with the summer coming my vitiligo shows a lot all over the place now!
