For those who use loose shadows and pigments, can you just adhere them to your lids with regular primer? Or do I need to use a glitter primer for a stickier base? And how do I adhere the pigment to my brush to apply to my lid? Newbie, here. Thanks, y'all!

When I used glitter pigments I usually do it while the primer is still a bit tacky and to adhere it to my brush I spray a bit of my setting spray on it.

I use my own mixing medium (3 parts rose water, 1 part glycerin) I dampen a brush and pat the wet pigment onto my lid.

I'm not sure about straight glitter, but I have to work with loose shadows every day. And this is just my personal experience and with bareMinerals loose shadows, so could be different. ANYWAY, I find that they adhere just fine with a regular primer. Cream eyeshadows as a base work really well as well. As far getting it on the brush, I just pour a little into a lid, swirl the brush around picking up all of the eyeshadow, tap off excess, and apply like you would any other shadow. Depending on how vibrant you want it, you may have to just pack it on, rather than the swirling method.

It doesn't have to be a glitter primer but if you want to try one I recommend the ELF glitter primer in "sheer"

Loose shadow works fine with regular primer but if you wan to do the Pat and stick routine I use LA SPLASH Sealer/Base it intensifies color and provides extra protection against smears and smudges for flawless 12 hour wear.I've used this stuff for almost 10 years and it's one MEGA hold concrete sealer/Base and nothing comes close to it.See LA Splash was once a dance performance cosmetic company but expanded through the years. It seal's Glitter and shadow like it was wall paper on your eye Lol

I personal hate eyelid primers I just use concealer instead and with loose pigments I just spray setting spray on my brush. That's all

I just us a regular primer or I usw a white base to make the colour really pop. Basically the same thing I'd do for a pressed eyeshadow.

I use a glitter primer OR a base that's a bit tacky like MAC paint pots.

But I think depending on the product, it may not matter. I used Urban Decay Deep End pencil paired with Sugarpill Starlig pigment and this lasted all day no problems. Other times I use MAC soft Orche pot.
