What method is best to create the most amazing messy bun?

It's a messy bun. It doesn't need to look amazing

I usually twist it in like a high pony, then wrap it into a bun and pull it loose if I want it messier. I've mastered the messy buns and this is usually the way I do them.

Here is a tip... I use a headband like one of those with a neutral color! And I use that to keep my bun in place

I've always put it in a high pony tail, separated it into 2-4 pieces depending on the thickness of your hair, lightly teased them, and wrapped them around each other, and secured with bobby pins(:

Thank you everyone💕and amazing was the wrong word used, it should have been 'decent looking that's looks fine to walk around in public with.' Because, currently my messy buns do not fit that criteria haha

Honestly all of my buns are messy haha, my best suggestion is to pull your hair into a ponytail in your hand, twist it up into a bun, and loosely put a ponytail holder around it. Scrunchies are cool too!
