I feel like the whole dark hair and light highlights has always been a thing, which I personally hate. Neither of those specifically are in style right now, but if you were looking for yourself I would say go 2.

Actually I never colored my hairs, this is for the first time.

With hilites you would have to get a retouch every 6-8 weeks as for ombré with Bayalage you can go way longer..
