My hair is dark brown and I'm looking to dye it dark green, I don't want to over bleach my hair, but I don't want to not bleach it enough that the color doesn't take. what shade of blonde should my hair be? and any bleach recommendations?

Try 30 bleach. Ion is a good brand you can get it at Sallys.

Bleach your roots first then wash. After you can bleach the rest of your hair. This prevents hair fall out.
