Gel vs Liquid Eyeliner?

I'm debating if I should get liquid or gel eyeliner since I just ran out. I've never used gel before and I'm not particularly good at liquid.

What are the pro's and con's for each? I'm looking for something long lasting and intense. Any recommendations? Thanks :)

I used liquid for ages because it is really dark and dramatic, but I've just switched to gel and it is just as dark, easier to put on AND stays put alllll day. I'm defo a convert :) I use a Rimmel London one that comes with it's own lil brush :)

Gel is much much easier. I was about to give up on attempting winged liner till I got a gel instead of liquid :p

Gel! It's easier to use and gives a nice matte finish

I personally love both. The best gel liner is the essence one and the best liquid is jordana.
