What's the difference between beauty blenders and brushes for liquid foundation? I barley started applying makeup and I have a dupe of the beauty blender but are brushes better?

Brushed can leave you looking streaky.

If you use brushes then always use a translucent powder to set because if you use the proper technique, it will get rid of any streaks you get from applying your foundation with a brush.

Brushes can leave streaks but they can simply be patted out. The beauty blender gives a nice airbrushed (not cakey) look to your foundation without a heap of work. I absolutely recommend getting one but remember there are amazing $3-$5 dupes which give the same outcome :)

I find that beauty blenders gets in around all spots and places you might have missed with a brush also it blends in the foundation line you might have with your skin. Brushes leaves streaks and patches that is why I apply my foundtion with a brush to the face the I use my beauty blender to basically set and blend foundation.

I prefer the finish of my foundation when I use a 'beauty blender' I use the real techniques version and I love it :)

I prefer a brush or my fingers for foundation application to really work it into my skin, but I still use the beauty blender as a finishing touch afterwards to get a. smooth finish. Also: I do not totally saturate my beauty blender like most people. I just run it under the tap to dampen the outside of it. I like a firmer sponge to really press & roll the sponge over my skin, I just get a better finish.

I honestly prefer using the expert face brush by real techniques IDK I just can't deal with beauty blenders they get me breakouts and I do wash it everyday :( But I prefer by real tech brush or the flat top kabuki by sigma.

I use both and with a brush I wasn't streaky I use sigma f80 brushes can give a. More full coverage face but the beauty blender looks airbrushed both very nice I alter mine depending on the foundation :)
