Hey ladies, so I live by the beach and go swimming a lot and want to dye my hair red. will the red bleed when I swim in the ocean or in pools and hot tubes? anything I can do about it?

Yes it will. Red hair bleeds SO much every time you go in the water. I was on vacay a few weeks ago when my hair was red I totally forgot and jump in the water and it bled like crazy lol. It was embarrassing. Dyed hair bleeds everytime you're submerged in water

Get a swim cap? I have the same problem. Chorine will destroy it too.

I had red hair for a while and like Renay said, it bleeds like crazy everytime you get your head wet. Also, hot water makes red bleed more so submerging in a hot tub would really hurt the color. I recommend going red in the fall and winter
