If you see on the eye shadows it has two eye looks you can do try to put the colors where they say too to see how it comes out

I like putting the pink eyelid color on my lid then using that brown crease color in the outer lid, a bit in the crease. Then use the definer in the outer v. Use the brow bone in my inner corner. :)

I don't like shimmer much either but honestly when you apply the colors, they are not too much. The bottom right which I love is almost matte brown with one layer then I apply more with a wet brush and it turns a gorgeous mixture of blue and brown.

I love this palette. its my fave. if you want a bold look you can use the left side crease color as a lid color and the definer as a crease color.

You could always follow what it says if you get bored with that switch eyelid colors or crease colors.
