Try creating dark circles around your eyes and give your lips effect by making it pale/white on the outer lips and in the middle blackish purple to complete your look. Btw what are you trying to be?

You can also create wounds with Elmer's glue and toilet paper, if you don't have any latex (or are allergic). It isn't as durable as latex (the glue will start to come off as you sweat) but it looks good for a couple of hours. As the edges peel up you can use eyelash glue to stick them back on.
I agree with Jacqueline about everything else. You've got a great base there, and with Jacqueline's advice you have lots of ideas to work with. :)
