So I was thinking about getting an ombre before school starts up in august! Yay! I've always thought it's looked amazing on people, so I can't help but want it for myself lol, the thing is I haven't really dyed my hair before, let alone bleach it. I have dark brown hair, and just wanted to know if am ombre is worth it & how bad it's going to affect my hair, how do YOU take care of your ombre?

At this time ombres are sorta going out of still, and I do see a lot of people getting them but it's more subdued and less obvious. Since you have dark hair, you would need to bleach it prior and the effect of it on your hair is bone dry. Personally, I don't think dying your hair is worth the damage. If you're still interested in an ombre then I really suggest getting it professionally done because people thst dovit themselves don't know how to really blend the color the way an ombre should be.
Ways to take care of your ombre:
-Only shampoo the top of your head and neck area, then rinse. This will prevent drying and allow for the ends of your hair to not be stripped of it's moisture.
-Invest in a really really nice conditioner and leave in conditioner. "It's A 10 Miracle Spray" works for a lot of people and delivers great moisture. Also use Argan Oil on the ends whenever you see your hair losing it's life.

I got an ombre about a year ago and absolutely LOVED it when I had it!! Its great since you don't have to touch up your roots and honestly the damage can be dealt with. I actually found that bleaching my hair made it more manageable afterwards, and I only had to bleach the ends once and not touch my roots at all so my hair was still healthy. I think ombre is so pretty, you should definitely go for it:)

I think highlights are way prettier. Ombré is tacky to me

Do it if you want! I prefer balayage because it's more natural looking

I would say, that bleaching it and then dying it isn't worth the damage. Its in your ends so its going to make your hair dry, and maybe have split ends and stuff. I personally dyed my hair blonde and I had to cut it and dye it brown again because it caused my hair a lot of damage. But do whatever you find best.
