I don't know if this is considered a tip or trick... but I am still in love with the Dr. Pepper LipSmacker! I know that thing has been around for YEARS! LOL. It gives such a perfect wash of color on days when you just want something simple :)

Ivette, I have never heard of using tape for winged liner. Can you explain with a little more detail please? Very curious!

Wayne goss talks about it on his YouTube channel too - you just use the tape (or post it's) to extend your bottom lash line so you can follow it to create the perfect wing.

Cherry doll face also has a great tutorial for it. I find it easier to follow and more straight forward than Wayne goss' :)
All my "old school" tricks or tips were in the article though hahah.

I still do the lighter trick for some liners lol I can also say that the Visine trick is true I learned about that in the 90s when Cindy Crawford use to have her show on MTV with Todd Oldham :-)

I like to use a missed matched foundation in a medium- cappuccino like shade to contour with... works perfectly.

The point is to help you pinpoint the exact angle you are going for! You will need take and preferably liquid eyeliner, it just looks better and cleaner. You need to line your lash-line with your liner. Now put the tape on your hand a few times to get it not so-so sticky. Then angle the tape by lining it up from the outside corner of your eye towards the end of your brow. Now with the tape in place draw your line. Now gently pull off the tape and you are done!!

Two old skool trix
Amazing lashes
Traditional mascara would be great lash, original
Curl, apply first coat, then seperate each lash with a pin
Curl, second coat, seperate each lash with pin
Keep building like that
Amazing lashes, seperated, dark, clump free... combs, brushes and spoolies don't give same effect
One product, whole face
This was popular for a long time. A lipstick in the right shade can be used as a blush, eyeshadow, and lip product (stain, gloss ect.). Just set after app. Its a very lovely look actually. I did this through my teen years.
Cornstarch makes a great setting powder for oily skin
Milk of magnesia, applied as a primer for oily skin, helps keep oil down
Vasoliene makes a good primer for very dry skin... specially under cream and pancake make up
Rose water makes a lovely setting spray
Rose bud salve on lid, cheeks and lips give a dewy glow...
Lime or mint green liner on water line opens and brightens eye
Okay, that was more then two... I have a ton more...

Ok, I didnt want to gush on and on... lets see
Pancake makeup... oh how I love thee... max factor... not easily found anymore, as my favorite... but for amazing full coverage, matte makeup... pancake... seems a lost art, and its a shame... I used this through my acne years, and looked flawless. It takes technique not to look cakefaced though...
Using a grey or taupe shadow, on lower lashline to mimic the shadow up upper lashes, will give appearance of long, full lashes
Matte reds, make reds easy for everyone...
For all day lip color, use dry pigment on well exfoliated lips
A dot of red at inner corner of eye, brightens eyes, whitens white of eye, elongates eye
Using black pigment, between layer of mascara will thicken and build lashes
A plum pencil is a great tool for drawing creases, contours, ect. Just blend out, and apply traditional product over
Color washes, wet pigments and makes washes of color as a base to shadows. Alllow to dry before adding dry product over. It adds dimension to color
Only line inside corner of lip. Then apply lipstick. It will make them pouty

With pancake makeup, a wax primer should be applied first... leaves a doll skin finish.

What is pancake makeup?

Omg... am I that old... ha.

Its kinda like mac chroma colors. Dry cakes that get activated with water. Ver old skool. Geisha makeup uses a similar concept in pigment form... very heavy... but flawless... and wax primer is a must to fill in lines and pores... gives amazing finish though... truely.

Its takes skill to apply.

Amy I know what you're talking about but here it's called (or what I learnt) dry cakes, wet dry makeup or water activated makeup lol. But I've never heard the term pancake makeup.
