I'm trying to grow out my hair and I haven't cut my hair in 1 year!! my hair grows really slow and I'm terrified of haircuts... But I've noticed that my hair has some bad split ends lately. Will cutting the split ends off help it grow?

Yes it will make it healthier. If you don't cut your split ends it will will continue to break up the shaft and you'll have to cut more off

Uhm.. yes & no.
chopping off the split ends will prevent it from splitting further & further up the hair. that way you don't have to cut off as much at once & it makes it easier to grow out your hair.
however, it doesn't actually make your hair grow any faster or anything.

No. It won't help it grow or make it grow faster. However, it will help keep your hair healthy, and you'll have to cut off less of your hair when you finally do decide to trim your ends. If you don't trim them, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair.

A great way to prevent split ends in the first place is to use a Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner. I have for the last 6 months...and not a single split end. :)

Yes getting your haircut every 4-6 weeks will help your hair grow and look healthier!! Trust me my hair used to be the same way and I started cutting it regularly and it's super long now! :)

It doesn't make your hair grow any faster, but it does stop it from continuing to break and split up the shaft
