24/7 people may reply , or answer your question. Since we're on our phone , we can never see who answers to us. Maybe even answer Questions. When are you all are going update the app so we can get our notifications. I always miss people responses , and forget about the answers or questions. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. I would like to know is that what you all are working on. To make the app even more better. It would be so much better.

You can see if people answered your thread or a thread you posted on...at the top of the screen where all the categories are scroll over to the end and click following there is all the threads you posted and ones you commented on...no it doesn't notify you but you can check it.

We do have the ability to see that but I agree it needs to be fixed! The tab lists them from oldest to newest meaning I have to sit for like 20 minutes just scrolling to get to the ones I just answered...

Yes to private messages, notifications of replies to your threads and the ability to like a person's comment. Those seem like pretty basic things.

YES to notifications! I always miss comments on my profile/pictures/threads because I just don't notice them! Especially on the app threads move QUICKLY and if I don't remember to go back and check what I'm following I completely forget to see if anyone replied to me. I agree with Bree lol these are basic things!

Hello everyone, Thank you all for explaining the (follow) tab to ciera..Usually you would get an email when someone has left a comment on your picture's as well as notification email that someone is following you.Feel free to email help@Beautylish.com they are always open to suggestions. :-)

Like the beautiful alma said we get e-mails... Not to be a Debbie downer but we have to realize that this is a beauty place that is focusing on beauty an helping each other out on beauty related stuff this site is not like facebook where we are there to talk to one another about random things and all that, as a suggestion, if you ladies want to do private messages why don't you just give each other your e-mail and private chat there? Its the same thing

Okay true, true. You have a point CPT. However, I do have one suggestion. Make Beautylish an Android app as well. Not everyone can afford or wants an iPhone. And a lot of stores don't have wifi so iPods are useless. Sometimes, and I'm sure I'm not alone, I'm out shopping and I'd like an opinion of what I should buy or what looks better with what and it's difficult to ask before hand because ya never know what will be at the store. Just a suggestion...

True , I didn't even know you get notifications through your email. Because I don't see any , and I get new emails everyday , so I will never be able to see them. And I'm not saying making it like facebook. But I'm pretty sure some of us want to make our Qs private once in a while. But I will be asking Beautylish for a update on notifications

Ciera if you scroll through your e-mails you will find your beautylish notifications, if you have private questions then like I mentioned ask for the persons e-mail and you will be able to ask and talk about what ever it is you like, I'm not trying to be rude but this is a beauty site and the private messaging defeats the purpose of this site being a community like I mentioned you ladies want to talk privately e-mail each other it can't get easier then that

I just wish they would update the Android app to be on par with the iPhone app. I would like to be able to flag stuff when the need occurs and there's a few other options I wish they had. I would like to get a push notification for people writing on my profile instead of an e-mail though. I get a lot of emails already, I really don't need another for something like that lol. I get notifications for sales and whatnot but not for communication things. I think a messaging or chat section could be cool but I don't think it's a top priority and I'd be hesitant to even see it or use it because of how the "off topic" section was before they got rid of it. The app is still growing though and I understand that. It doesn't crash on me much though so I appreciate that and to me that's the important part lol.
