I have oily skin and I have 4/5 things I use. My face is bi-polar so one minute it can be VERY oily and the next it could be dry. I was on this app and I saw a post on using Yogurt as a mask.
I used it a couple of days ago. It made my skin smooth and soft. Do have any of you used yogurt as a mask? And if you did how did it benefit your face?
I like it , somewhat. But do any of you know anything else about it?

The only yogurt I have ever used on my skin was plain greek yogurt and it made my skin burn!! Lol but it made my skin look like it was glowing so that was a positive but I have always just had better results by just using actual mask.

The only diy mask I would use would be oatmeal or yogurt, yogurt is exfoliating because it's lactic acid its also anti bacterial to help reduce pimples,it also locks moisture into the skin,it should be plain Greek yogurt.

And thats what just happen @Traci. My face is smooth as a baby's bottom. I had put on raw shea butter since its cold in the room. Its taking all the dead skin , and acne away.

I used it , just washed it off, and my face is sooo smooth. I'm starting to love it. I also had put some natural Raw Shea Butter , so it can have a even more smooth texture. My face only get oily in the sun , so I don't have to worry about that.

I do the same as Jacqlyn plus a bit of lemon juice in with the yogurt and oatmeal. Don't know if it does anything but I've heard the acid in it helps exfoliate and brighten your complexion:)

Ciciii C.
@Angela will definitely be trying that.

You want active probiotics. Lactobacclis b.
It will balance healthy bacterias on skin
The milk also has lactic acid, which will exfoliate, hydrate, sooth, and decrease reddness
Yogert is wonderful for skin. Specially when eaten. Healthy skin starts in body...

That pineapple wasnt a bad choice... pineapple has bromeline. Which is a natural enzyme. I use bromeline enzyme a lot in my practice. Specially in combination with lactic acid.
Happy, tasty, accident...
Definatly do not do it more then once every 2 weeks...

I use full fat greek yogurt with probiotics as a mask every single night as a mask for my rosace. It really helps get rid of redness and make my skin texture nice and smooth. Highly recommended!
