Well do not pick at it, that can cause it to become infected. But I advise you take some tweezers and gently attempt to pluck part of it. Since a ingrown hair is just a hair that turned it self around and back into the skin. So try to straighten it up and fix it.

Warm wet wash cloth twice a day for 10 minutes at a time. I did this with mine and it made it go away. If it doesn't get better doing that, go to the doctor. They may have to drain it for you or might give you a topical medication to apply to it.
