The formula is not balanced for human hair. It was ORIGINALLY made for horses. The wax in it weighs down your hair making it appear longer and after a period of time your hair will get brittle and dry.

I've never use the Argan oil shampoo and conditioner but I do use the actual oil from that brand and I love it. I might have to look into the combo:)

I use the mane and tail and my hair isn't dry or brittle, it's not weighed down either. I also put in a leave in conditioning spray after I get out of the shower though.

I actually enjoyed Mane n Tail in the time I used it but I wouldnt repurchase. As for Argan Oil stuff I would buy it because Hask is a brand I really like and I've used their hair treatment things (forgot the name but its in a green tube) and their Argan Oil and loved it!

I also suggest using a different shampoo and conditioner once or twice a week if you get mane and tail.

My friend who uses main and tail (like once a week) has absolutely stunning hair, I used it and my hair lets just say turned out really gross until my next shower 😣 just depend on you hair type honestly and I hear argon oil is extremely good for your hair my hair dresser used something like that in my hair before and <33 loved it ah.

I love it! It thickened my hair, made it longer, and softer. Some people say it dries out their hair but it didn't for me and they lasted quite awhile. I say go for it!!

Don't use mane n tail! It may seem great but later on it is horrible for human hair because its not balanced for human hair. Check out makeupalley for reviews.

It is so easy to use too much of it! But it is really great, sometimes I feel like the shampoo doesn't do justice so I would suggest getting a very intense shampoo to use weekly/biweekly to really get rid built up oils , but remember , shampoo on the top , conditioner at the ends!
