I am having a very hard time finding a pressed or loose powder thay will control my oil throughout the day, I've been using rimmel stay matte, but it still doesn't seem to cut it, my oil change mes through after onky a few hours or less! can anyone suggest any good powders I could try that I can purchase in australia? preferably not anything high end, too expensive!

Yesss! Definitely try the Australis pressed powders :) they're amazing, great for coverage and last all day. The only powder I buy here :) much better then the Rimmel stay matte.

I have a great powder recommendation but first, Can you buy Neutrogena or Urban Decay products in Australia? I'm sorry I don't know because I don't live their but even though Urban Decay is high end their De-Slick mattifying powder is well worth the money it controls oil and shine all day with no touch ups. I use mine just about every day for well over a year and still haven't hit pan. Another great option if you really don't want to pay that much is Neutrogenas Shine control powder performs almost just as good as the Urban Decays but if you use it along with the shine control primer it controls shine from morning well in to the late night.

I just recently found the Neutrogene one and once I finosh up my Urban decay powder I will be replacing it for good with the Neutrogene powder just because its half the money and works just as well. Oh and by the way I have super oily acne prone skin and neither of these have ever broke my skin out.

Unfortunately we can't get urban decay in australia without having to buy online and using a seperate shipping service, that I know of anyway :( but we might be able to get neutrogena? I know I can get their skin and hair care here, ill have to have a look! thankyou!! :)

That sucks that you can't get Urban Decay in Australia. I don't know where I would be with out their eye primer. lol. But definitely try to find Neutrogena because that performs the same at UD even better than them if you also use their primer.

I love using cornstarch as a loose translucent powder! It is sooooo silky and it is the main ingredient in most powders from drugstore to high end powders these days :)
