No matter how much I care for my hair I get split ends. I wash it every second day, use morrocan oil, deep conditioner, don't brush it when wet and don't straighten it.
Why am I still getting split ends?! All my other friends who straighten and treat their hair like crap have no split ends!

I have the exact same problem!! I stopped washing it so much, put leave in conditioners when I wash my hair, don't use the hair dryer anymore, and rarely straighten it and IF I do I use a heat protector.

Have you tried to use any shampoos that are made to mend split ends?

Could you suggest some shampoos and conditioners which strengthen hair?

I have the EXACT same problem. I was looking up hair science-y things and I think I may have figured it out. key word here is Hair replacement rate. Some people have hair that grows very long and doesn't fall out as much. Others have hair that gets to a certain length, falls out, and replaces itself with more hair. This usually ends up leading to healthier hair because it's being renewed, but it can be quite annoying if you want long hair. I used to think I was doing something wrong because no matter what I did my hair just wouldn't grow no matter what conditioner, hair masks, protective hair styles, and showering routines I tried. I'm starting to try and take more vitamins (biotin mostly) to see if that speeds anything up. It might just me genetics sorry :( x. if it makes you feel any better I'm in the same boat. hope this helped! xx

No problem! sorry that was such a long comment by the way 😁 and yes it is kind of unfair, I've always wanted long flowing hair but it can never seem to go past my collarbone. If you find anything that works do tell! haha xx

Mine is mid-chest and I can't seem to pass it! It just annoys me that I put so much work and effort into it and it always seems split and brittle. There are so many girls who don't even look after their hair and its still nice :(

Try staring with a fresh slate by getting a trim done by your hair stylist. Then try biotin and take it daily. It helps make your hair and nails stronger. When you wash your hair condition the tips and let it sit for about five min, maybe shave or wash your body in the meantime.😊 maybe your using too much products. Idk. Split ends are a pain. Good luck!

Coarse hair usually gets split ends faster in my opinion. I have thick coarse hair and it gets damaged so easily ): I use the keratin oil shampoo & conditioner by organix(I think it's called?) for anti breakage and it seems to be helping me!

I've always had the same problem and I've done plenty to make it be healthy, but the fact of the matter is that hair (especially dry or curly hair) is going to split and break. It has to do with genetics too but honestly the only one who really sees the split ends are you usually so don't stress about it so much where it drives you insane but just trim it and keep trying new things

I heard that if you get your hair cut with razor shears its more prone to have your hair split at the end as it grows... especially if you are not extra careful with your hair routines.
