I'm not sure but do not use the lemon juice remedy, its very damaging to your hair! Sorry I don't have ways that it does work, but I know that you should stay away from the lemon juice method.

I don't know if it really works but I think it worked for me. it didn't get superlight or anything it just looks a tiny bit lighter. I used honey and olive oil. I mixed it together and I put it in the microwave but not too long. I did this yesterday and I think it worked a lil big but it won't make it absolutly light. hope I helped :)

Definitely helped (: I honestly know nothing about hair but I'd like to go just a little bit lighter rather then just darkish brown/black. it gets old so thank you Sameja.

Many girls put beer on their hair while tanning and they say it does work well but I think it damages the hair

There is a shampoo and conditioner that you can find at walmart and target called manzanilla grisel an that definitely lightens your hair I used to use it and my hair got really really light, but its beat to use the conditioner with it cuz without it the hair gets kinda dry.

I am trying everything just to have lighter hair. I am afraid of bleeching it because it will get too much damage. my next step will be using a color remover but I'll do it in a couple of days because I have my graduation thursday so I don't want to look terrible. I buy the color remover at the drugstore and it doesn't have bleech in it and also no ammoniak so I think thats a good product. I'll try it on my sis her hair today so if you want to know how that will turn out you can ask me :)

How do you do the honey method?

You mix olive oil and honey (same amount) in a bowl and you put it for like 10 sec in the microwave and afterwards you put it in your hair.

I've also heard that you can try mixing honey and conditioner and mix it and then leave it in hair for 30 min and wash it out! (: I've tried it and it made really slight differences but I already have blonde hair so that's all I needed (:
