Unusual eye shade, colour help!

Heya first post here but I have a question.

See I have really really dark eyes, they look black sometimes and people often think they're brown because they're so dark until they look at me under light but they're just extremely dark blue, navy I guess is through closest shade to them and I've been wondering what colours I should be wearing on them to enhance them and that would suit them :/

Googling has been useless because I can only find advice on what works on bright blue/grey blue/green blue etc but would those work on mine?

Confused cos I did the whole black eyeliner, black shadow thing for years before realizing this makes my eyes look tiny and dull.

If I'm gonna wear make-up, I wanna do it right and use colours that will enhance my eyes.

Any advice would be so appreciated :)
