Need advice for shorts PLEASE HELP!

A few days ago I bought some neon pink denim chino shorts from J Crew. Yesterday I completely ruined the back by getting dark blue dye from my new jeans on them. I managed to get most of the blue off but now the pink is really faded. Does anyone have any creative what's to re-color of re-dye neon denim so it looks as good as new? I can post a picture if you need to see. They're just such a nice pair of shorts and I don't sang to throw them out.

You can search diys on youtube but you can dye the shorts but watch tutorials to make sure you do it properly (:

There is a clothing dye you can use I think it's called Rid , I used it many times when my blacks would fade but they have many many colors , you dye them in the washing machine so there is no mess , you can find the dye in the laundry section of any supermarket or target, walmart or Kmart type stores

I'm not sure if Rit would be able to bring it back to neon. Perhaps a hair dye like Manic Panic, Splat, Fudge Paintbox, or Ion Brights would work to dye it neon again? I don't know if that would hold up to machine washing though.
