In my opinion ecotools are the best, you could try using a beauty blender instead of a brush for foundation but if you want a brush then you could opt for the fibre optic foundation brush.

I didn't like the beauty blender. Maybe I'm just weird lol I only liked it for contouring. As far as brushes go I really like Sephora's Pro Brushes. I use the #56 for foundation and I love it. But as far as the best I have heard Sigma, Mac, and Kevin Acuion are great.
