What kind of tops and shoes do you wear with jean shorts. I've never been confident enough to go out in them but that might be because I have no clue what to wear with them. I feel like tanktop are to tight for me to wear and just makes the whole outfit look awful. any ideas on what to wear with jean shorts?

Flip flops and a tee shirt, keds/converse/vans and a graphic tee... Nicer shirts and sandals.

Same here I do flip flips or nice slippers with a loose summer sleeveless tee - to class it up you can wear heels with a dark wash or flats with like a clubbing type of top.
