The one at my Sally's was only 5.45! I love this brand I highly recommend it. You might have to get multiple boxes. I have thick hair past my shoulder blade and I used three with some extra leftover. You will definetely need to purchase other hair care items like a deep conditioner and shampoos and masks all for color treated hair. There is also stuff to touch up the color without having to completely dye it. That along with the developer that you NEED won't cost that much. It lasts a long time if you take care of it :) there's a lot of color choices too! If you want a dark red do deep auburn and/or intense red. I tend to mix two different colors. Comment on my profile and lemme know how it goes! This is exciting for me ahaha
