I'd use a 1 1/2 inch curling wand. Just wrap around larger sections of hair aroubd the barrel don't use the clamp then once you've done that to your whole head spray some texturizing spary or sea salt spray on it then shake the curls out a bit so you can get that loose curl/wave to your hair.

A youtuber named Lyss Ryan has a great video showing how to do these curls. So does Alex Centomo and Alexandrea Garza.

Make sure you let the curls set and cool before you shake them out so your hair will stay curled and nit come undone.

I would use a 1 1/2 with a clamp and curl from the top and down leaving an inch out from the bottom. Then wait like 10 minutes and shake it out:)

I love wands but my hair is naturally straight so anytime I curl it it'll end up like that within 30 minutes :(

Use a 1inch or any thinner wand the night before and and go to sleep as usual! The next morning use your fav styling cream I suggest the not your mothers cream or the loreal advanced hairstyle frizz vanisher cream! Don't brush it. After the cream has set using your hands comb through and fix pieces! Use a hairspray and it'll look like that!
